Apex Armada Privacy Policy

Max Q Games. Last updated: October 1, 2026

The short version

Apex Armada is an online game. Your fleet battles fleets built by other real players, so the game has to send your fleet and your results to our server, where other players can fight it. To keep that fair and to tell players apart, the game uses a random player ID, never your real name, email or password. Extra balance data is only sent if you say yes, and you can change your mind any time. We never sell anything and never use it for ads.

What the game sends for online play

This list comes straight from the game's code and our server. If something is not on it, we do not collect it.

Online play needs all of this, so it has no switch. Playing offline against computer fleets sends nothing.

What other players see

Your fleet, your Steam profile name, your rank, and the profile picture and frame you wear. On leaderboards they see your Steam profile name and your result. They never see your player ID, your Steam ID or anything else on this page.

Balance data, only if you pick Share

The first time you play, the game asks whether you want to send extra detail to help us balance the game. If you pick Share, it also sends, under the same random player ID:

Pick Don't Share and none of this is sent.

Feedback you send on purpose

The in-game feedback form sends what you type, the kind of note it is (a bug, a balance note or an idea), the game's version, your platform and window size, and, if you leave the switch on, a record of your last fight so we can replay it. If you are signed in, it carries your random player ID. That form is the one place your own words reach us, and only when you press send.

What we never collect

Your real name, email address, password, payment details, contacts, location, microphone or camera, the files on your computer, or anything you type outside the feedback form.

Where it goes

Our game server runs on Supabase, on servers in the United States. Like anything on the internet, the server can see the network address a request comes from. We use it only to stop spam and abuse (a short counter that is deleted within the hour), and we never store it with your player data. Supabase's own policy is at supabase.com/privacy. Steam's is at store.steampowered.com/privacy_agreement.

What we use it for

We never sell your data, never share it for advertising and never use it for ads.

How long we keep it

If you go 12 months without playing online, we delete your data. Feedback reports are deleted 12 months after they arrive. The one thing we keep longer is a record that an account was banned for cheating.

Your choices

Kids

Apex Armada is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, this page changes and so does the date at the top.
